Our StarClamps System offers a number of different ways to mount a Raspberry Pi 4 computer. All of these work with either our SC-1 Telescope Clamps or our TC-1 Tripod Clamps.

All our Raspberry Pi. mounts are based on the Raspberry Pi 4 case used. The Raspberry Pi 4 requires a decent heatsink to avoid thermal throttling, so a case is essential. As most Raspberry Pi 4 cases do not have any external mounting points, our systems use the factory mounting holes for the case to connect the Raspberry Pi 4 case to a tray which then connects to a mounting plate. The mounting plate easily connects to either a ST-1 Tripod Clamp or a SC-1 Telescope Clamp. We ensure that all the ports on the case are easily available, including the PI camera slot and the SD card slot. Our connections require no changes to your case, nor to your Raspberry Pi, so you can revert the case to it's original state with no damage.

The StarClamps System allows your Raspberry Pi 4 to be moved to another telescope in just a few minutes, using just your fingers as no special tools are required.

We currently support the following Raspberry Pi 4 cases:

• The Pimoroni Aluminium case (PiMoroni Case)
• The Flirc Case (Flirc Case)
• The Argon Neo (Argon Neo Case). You do not need to remove the rubber bumpers underneath the case to fit on the tray.
• A popular generic alumimium case (See here)

Other cases may work with this specific bundle, but they haven't been tested.
