The SP-8 Mounting Plate is specifically designed to attach our ST-2 Tray for Raspberry Pi 4 to any of our tripod or telescope clamps.  This is a smaller mounting plate and other trays will not fit this. It is 15mm narrower than the SP-1Mounting Plate.

The SP-8 Mounting Plate can be mounted either horizontally or vertically on our clamps, as well as be moved up and down to help balance the scope or fit around other items on the telescope tube.

All of our cable management clips connect to the SP-8 Mounting Plate around the edge, they simply snap on, no tools needed.
